Group Urges Nigerians to Back Tinubu’s Re-election, Cites Food Bank Programme

A group has called on Nigerians to support President Bola Tinubu’s re-election bid, citing his administration’s food bank programme aimed at supporting children, pregnant women and breastfeeding mothers.

The group said the programme was designed to improve access to nutritious food and provide assistance to malnourished children to help them recover and grow healthily.

Speaking on the initiative, a representative said the programme was focused on addressing nutritional needs among vulnerable groups, particularly children and mothers.

“We have finished the food bank programme, where we are helping every child and mothers who are pregnant and also breastfeeding,” the representative said.

The speaker added that the initiative was intended to ensure beneficiaries had access to more nutritious food, while malnourished children received treatment and adequate nourishment.

The representative also urged supporters returning to their respective states to promote Tinubu’s leadership, describing him as a leader willing to make difficult decisions.

“He is a leader who can be trusted to lead us into prosperity, build a stronger economy, safer communities and a greater Nigeria,” the speaker said.

The group subsequently urged Nigerians to support continuity in government and called for the re-election of Tinubu and candidates of the All Progressives Congress (APC) at all levels.

“Vote for continuity, vote for capacity, vote for prosperity, vote for the re-election of Mr President and all the candidates of the APC from top to bottom,” the representative added.
