Utah Valley Shooting: FBI Video Shows Charlie Kirk’s Killer Escaping Scene After Rooftop Attack

The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) has unveiled video evidence of the man behind the fatal shooting of right-wing figure Charlie Kirk, providing the most detailed look yet at the suspect’s escape.

The surveillance footage, made public on Friday by the FBI’s Salt Lake City office, depicts the shooter climbing onto a rooftop before the incident. Moments later, he is seen fleeing after fatally wounding the 31-year-old political activist during an event at Utah Valley University on September 10, 2025.

Authorities confirmed that the gun and ammunition used in the crime were found discarded in nearby woods, not far from the university.

According to the FBI’s statement: “Around 12 pm Mountain Time on September 10, 2025, the subject climbed up to a rooftop; after he shot and killed Charlie Kirk, he jumped off and ran away. He left a gun and ammunition in a wooded area near the university.”

Forensic investigators also uncovered physical traces at the scene, including shoe marks, a palm print, and a forearm impression.

The FBI is appealing to the public for assistance, urging those with tips to reach out at 1-800-CALL-FBI or visit fbi.gov/utahvalleyshooting.

A $100,000 reward has been pledged for information that could help identify and apprehend the suspect.

Charlie Kirk, a staunch supporter of Donald Trump and the head of the largest conservative youth group in the country, was a significant voice in American politics. His murder has triggered an outpouring of grief across conservative networks.

Meanwhile, misinformation has added complications, with two unrelated individuals reporting being wrongly accused online of involvement in the murder.
