Jennifer Lopez sued for $300,000 for posting her photos without permission

Famous American singer and actress Jennifer Lopez is facing a lawsuit for sharing her own red carpet photos without permission.

The lawsuit, filed for copyright infringement, was brought against Lopez by photographer Edwin Blanco and his agency, Backgrid. They claim that Lopez posted two of their photos without authorization and are seeking $150,000 in damages for each photo.

The $300,000 lawsuit accuses Lopez of using the photos to promote her personal brand by tagging the designers of her jewelry and clothing.

Reports indicate that Lopez had shared several pictures from the 2025 Golden Globe Awards on her social media.

Captioning the post, he said “GG Weekend Glamour”.

It’s worth noting that this isn’t the first time Lopez has faced such legal action, as she was also sued for similar photo rights violations in 2019 and 2020 after posting professionally taken images without proper clearance.
