If you want your skin to glow during raining season
Rainy season can make your skin become more greasy which can cause potential breakouts and existing skin conditions such as acne and eczema can become worse.
This is because the high humidity during rainy season can increase the risk of fungal and bacterial infections.
Here is what to do:
Clean your face twice daily
This step is crucial because it ensures that no dirt and oil is accumulated on your skin, which can lead to breakouts.
So,clean your face with a suitable and mild cleanser once in the morning and once just before you go to bed. This will keep your face looking radiant all day long.
Scrub
The humidity during the rainy season can clog your pores and cause more dead cells and which will make your complexion look dull.
This is why you need to exfoliate once to twice a week with any good scrub you can get. However, once you notice that your complexion is becoming more radiant please reduce the number of times you scrub.
Too much scrubbing can affect the health of your skin which may cause a much bigger problem.
Take a lot water
Just because it is rainy season doesn’t meaning you have to stop taking liquid. It is important that you stay hydrated because it is the only way you can maintain a radiant skin.
So, drink eight to ten glasses of water regularly.
Moisturiser
To make your skin feel on-greasy use a water-based moisturisers. This is because water-based moisturisers absorbs easily and has a non-greasy texture unlike cream-based moisturisers.
Reduce the make up
Skip the makeup and allow your skin to breathe during this wet season. Some makeup products become greasy after a few hours of applying them which can clog your pores. However, if you must wear a makeup, consider using products that are waterproof formulas.
Eat a healthy diet
You have probably heard the saying, you are what you eat. So, include fruits, herbs and spices into your daily meal. To maintain that natural glow, include food and fruits that are rich in antioxidants into your daily plan.
